HVAC Project Testimonial

   
 Dear Mr. Freund,

    Our corporate offices and R&D facilities were in need of new HVAC systems.  We were plagued with many comfort complaints and were faced with high operating costs. 

   It became my responsibility to upgrade the antiquated HVAC systems. The emphasis was on improving temperature and humidity control as well as air quality.  The project had a high profile and was very visible to our corporate management and due to my limited time I asked Buist Incorporated to submit a "Design-Build Turn Key" proposal to upgrade the system.

   They quickly assessed the situation, developed a scope of work and preliminary designs that addressed all of our concerns, and offered some unique solutions.  Their expertise and experience in this area came through.  Buist Inc. was able to offer us a thorough and competitively priced proposal.

  We, therefore, awarded a $1,350,000 contract to Buist Incorporated and were very pleased with the results.  The renovations were extensive.  It involved replacement of most of our air handlers and all of our goals were accomplished.  The project was completed in a timely fashion and on budget.  Our comfort level improved greatly with very little complaints from our employees.  The new air handlers were relocated and are more accessible and easier to maintain.  The transition from old to new involved extensive down time and was accomplished in a professional manner, with very little interference with ongoing operations.  Buist Incorporated assumed the bulk of the responsibility and was very conscientious.  The project required very little of my project management time.

   I was very pleased with, and highly recommend Buist Incorporated to anyone considering any "Design-Build Turn Key" project and/or any mechanical maintenance, service or installation project.
